There are so many Italian Anthems from that time that I doubt that there is an album which captures them all. The track list below is taken from Xtravaganza - The Italian Piano Anthems album. It's not bad, but I'm sure you'll agree that there are a few glaring ommission!

I remember some great albums on Rumour records in 91 ! There was one called Paradiso that had asha , johnny parker,fpi,velvet,mimmo mix etc...

Italian Cool Beats Vol 1 is for me the ultimate one, 100% italian, kicks ass deephouse to uptempo tracks (but no hardcore or cheese), awesome compilation, unmixed.

Not on vinyl but "Best of Italian house Vol 1 - 4" (also available as a boxset) has 60 nice tracks on it with loads of classics.
