"Can't Hold Back", by DJ, drummer and producer Jonathan Meyer, and singer and international DJ - Anna Cavazos, is the latest deep, soulful house release from Madhouse Records. The single features some stellar remixes by Issac Christopher, Major Notes and Voyeur.
Jonathan Meyer started his career at the age of 6 playing drums in a local Evangelical Church where his father was the parson. After spending the early years of his life submerged in the Rome blues, soul and jazz scene, Meyer surfaced in 2000, making his debut in the house music world with a performance at the Pasha club in Riccione.
Anna Cavazos, who sings the soulful vocal on Can't Hold Back, began her music career as a classically trained singer. Since then she has traveled worldwide playing and performing in clubs from Sardinia to Tokyo and remains very much in demand as an international DJ.
The single infuses a perfect balance of groove and dance floor energy, serenading the listener with Anna's soulful vocal and flowing with Meyers' effortless production.
The Issac Christopher, Voyeur and Major Notes remixes take the track a to deeper dance realm.
Issac Christopher maintains the upbeat flow of the original adding depth with carefully placed layering with effects and beats.
Voyeur present a truly creative remix, drawing the listener in with a melodic, atmospheric intro, that builds and powerfully breaks, into a deep, subtle growling house track.
The final remix on the EP by Major Notes melts chords into a deep bassline while hi hats beat above.
