|
|
Hi Everyone,
I taped the following track from the telly on August 6th, 1999.
It was spun live by DJ Karri-O (he's from Finland).
Link 1: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?cdgzj1bnjm1 (download, 451 kB)
Link 2: http://www3.zippyshare.com/v/7571214/file.html (streaming, 451 kB)
After much investigation, it seems possible that the tune could be from the UK ... but if in hard house then something polished/stripped down, deffo nothing close to Tidy/Untidy Trax, etc..
Possibly a club house/techno artist in the mold of an Armand van Helden ???
Have checked all of Holland in vain, so the tune probably isn't Dutch, although surprised it's not from Vincent de Moor (early work), Orlando Voorn, Jark Prongo, ...
K-O recalled that the 12" may've been NL/BE/UK & may've had a black/red, silver/red, or red/silver color scheme for background & logo, respectively. And the logo looks like a letter, possibly a B?
Thoughts, ideas, guesses etc. welcome!
MUST have this track!!!
c

Updated original post:
a discogger informs me that this track MAY in fact be
-ITALIAN- (or possibly even Spanish) HARD HOUSE.

Hey, cheers Ddisco for the support & glad you like it too, but it's still unIDed, I'm afraid.
Not giving up though.

I received a lead of MAC ZIMMS on this tune a few weeks ago, & this tune sounds similar to the driving tribal/techno style on the BPM Dance labels,
BUT
I emailed Mac Zimms (Willem Faber) & was informed that it's not on any of the BPM Dance labels, nor is it from any of the immediate group (i.e. Mac Zimms, Minnaard & Hagen, Silvio Ecomo, Joff Roach, DJ Randy).
I checked Starfighter - Apache too, as the beat is similar, but it doesn't seem to be any remix of that tune -- though I definitely hear some sort of hum/buzz during the break in my clip.
Any other ideas???
c more than before

For the label, maybe something tangential to Steel Wheel (Italy) or even 666?

No luck with Dutch artists Roland Klinkenberg, Stef Pako & Frederik, ...
No luck with German artists Commander Tom, Nuclear Hyde (Noom Records) - I don't think.
