Does anyone remember a dance track which featured a sample of a classical music track ( violin concerto of some description) circa 2002-3 Was very popular in europe. Been bugging me for over a year now. It was brought out later with lyrics too, but can't remember them either!!! Not much to go on I know but .............

If anyone knows......... GRATEFUL,,,,,, BLAH ,,,,BLAH

There was a mash up which Paul Oakenfold was responsible for of William Orbit vs Skip Raiders released in 2003

Thanks - but not the one i was thinking of. I bought a whole compliation cd once thinking it might have been that one " adagio for strings" !!

Try a group called "Bond". The 4 girls performed at Miss Universe 2003 and have great dance songs like "Shine", "Strange Paradise", "Victory", "Allegretto", all of which are essentially classical violin sounding songs set to dance beats.

Hey, just like unique said, try the band Bond. I dont actaully know what you are talking about, but i just thought i would let you know about a tune that i like, which has classical type music. Its Bond - Explosive Remix. Let us know if thats it
