Everyone has a track that takes them back to a great time or place. It may not be your favourite, but when it comes on you get a great feeling of nostalgia.
One of mine is Scatman by Scatman John. I killed that track in my car when it came out and I had a fantastic summer that year. It always takes me back and puts a smile on my face.
EDIT: Forgot to ask what everyone elses was!
So, um, whats everyone elses? _________________ "with a gun barrel between your teeth, you speak only in vowels"

The tune that always brings a smile to my face is Happiness - Sound De-zign,... It was when I first started to go clubbing and i used to dance my little ass off to this tune, it was also one of the tunes that we played whilst on study leave (instead of revising) .... I cant go back too far since i'm only 20 lol, but that is the tune that springs to mind

Being a total Hardcore Freak that I was in those days, I was so excited when Hardcore compilations came out. But then they had stuff like Rhubarb and Custard and the Bouncer. I was quite disappointed. _________________ "with a gun barrel between your teeth, you speak only in vowels"

2 for me tht always get me going are Moby-Go and Bizarre inc-Playing with knifes, they just remind me of first getting into dance music at a very, very young age as i am only 22 now, but i also had the pleasure of playing them both at a night quite recently and they had the dancefloor rockin, both amazing tunes _________________

One for me is "Pauline Henry - Feel like making love" what a tune, brings me right back... also "The Prodigy - Wind It up" and most songs on the "Experience" album have the same effect!
some more that do it for me
Moby - Feeling so real
Playahitty - Summer is magic
Cosmic Baby - Loops Of Infinity
Westbam - Celebration Generation
Jam & Spoon - Right in the night
Culture beat - Anything

It's nice to see someone list a harder track that Moby has done when you mention Feeling so Real. I actually thought that it was better than Go, but I always felt alone in that opinion. _________________ "with a gun barrel between your teeth, you speak only in vowels"

|
|
Lemme try and think right now...
1. That song that goes "what she gonna look like with a chimney on her?" I think it wuz The Tamper or something like that. That just reminded me of the end of the 1998 year, and going to the playground in the elementary school back in 5th grade.
2. Real McCoy "One More Time" reminds me of when I wuz young (I guess in the year 1997), when my mom, or someone would play that @ a party that we would have, and I would be playing Donkey Kong Country 2 on Super Nintendo. Now, tha Tony Moran extended mix, came on the Music Choice: Dance channel, and so when it came on, it brought me back.
3. Another song that reminds me of playing Super Nintendo and parting iz Cathy Denis "Touch Me (All Night Long)."
4. This song izn't VERY OLD, but Uniting Nations "Out Of Touch" brings it back to the Winter of 2004/2005. I got obsessed with it starting February 23, 2005! Today, @ 2:27 p.m., it came on the Music Choice: Dance channel, and when I don't hear a song on that channel for a while, when it comes on, it's really exciting! I haven't heard it come on there since May 7, 2005, and so that's 33 dayz ago, so when it came on today, I wuz ShaKinG noN sToP FoR LikE 5 MiNuTeS, beCAusE of HoW ExCiTeD I WuZ!
That's how I get with the songs I love nah mean?
*Now Playing: Madonna "Ray Of Light"*
5. Also, mostly anything by Madonna from the 80's and 90's reminds me of when I wuz young, playing video games, and my mom would alwayz play Madonna.
That's all I can think of right now. _________________

KLF - Last train to trancentral (pure trance mix)
The sheep just take me way back to the days of MacMillans the smaller club on the side of Club M Yarm (If its even still there).
Under 18's night every Wednesday with Havanna DJ's etc, class nights a bottles of Merrydown, Thunderbirds, mixers made from Mums drinks cabinet and a box of rape alarms to inhale

Wow, you like it twice as much!
Barthezz- On the Move. Such a rip roaring track, takes me back to when I was on the dancefloor of Uropa in Sheffield 10pm til 2am, non stop dancing with my friends bringing me bottles of water because they were worried.
I managed to get it from htfr.com a few weeks ago and I still love it... _________________ "with a gun barrel between your teeth, you speak only in vowels"
