I'm gonna use this thread for my playlists, special countdowns, etc.. Here's some tips about my playlists:
*Note: The playlist updates every 3 weeks, due to that's how long my playlists last.
The spins are determined by how much I play a song on my iPod.
If a song iz tied in spins, the song that got played first ranks higher.
Total spins are the total amount of spins on my iPod this year.
The songs on my playlist are songs that I like that are in current rotation from my sources (where I hear my music).
If I do use colors for my songs, they indicate that:
Red songs are all types of Dance and Electronica.
Green songs are Rap, R&B, Reggae, Reggaeton, or Latin.
Blue songs are Pop and anything that doesn't fit in the other 2 categories.
Whenever I play a song that I'm playing 2 different mixes of, then I count each one separate, but in the same position. #5 iz an example!
Spins = # of times I played the song throughout the playlist date.
Now usually with my playlists they are just Rank :: Artist "Title" :: Spins | Total Spins, but this time I'm doing it a lil' more professional and a lil' more different this time (this time probably only for a while).
I included Label and Weeks for this playlist.
If the Label has -, then it's either not signed or I don't know it.
Weeks means the # of weeks I've had the song on my playlist. On The Verge's on the playlist start at 1 week on the playlist.
I'm gonna post it as pictures (the program I use to type up my playlists which iz Word Perfect).
Note that PR means Previous Rank (which was where it ranked last on the previous playlist).
Picture Notes: I think there's one error. Sunblock "I'll Be Ready" should be 4 weeks, not 5. As for the "picture" version of my playlist, Ranks in Red are new entries. Ranks in Yellow are ones that went up in Rank. Ranks in Orange are re-entries.
Any Rank and Artist "Title" that are italicized (sp?), they are "spike" songs on my playlist (meaning that they have 2 or lower spins. Those with at least 3 spins like this, most of the time it's the adds, are probably gonna be falling off my next playlist).
PR's in Red are songs that were On The Verge on the previous playlist.
Any Dance song that doesn't have a mix in " [ ] " means that the mix I play iz just Radio Edit.
Notes:
Anywayz, once again ( ) for the 2nd playlist in a row, T.I. "What You Know" iz my hottest rap song?
I think that song iz a lil' overrated. That's why I play the blend a lot more and leave the original version to my naps. The reason why it got that many spins was because when I was playing it on my iPod, Origene "Sanctuary" played on Music Choice Dance and when that song comes on there (which iz usually monthly), I play the song that I had playing (and also the last featured Rap song on my VCR tape) for 30 minutes straight! So that's how "What You Know (DJ ACV Blend)" got its spins, and it got 8 in a row!
"Freek U" and "Mamma Mia" are really late adds for me. "Freek U" will be falling off my next playlist but "Mamma Mia" will continue to do its thang (I feel like I'm in France or Italy when I play it)!
"Lightning Strikes Twice" and "Hustlin'" slipped a lil', but I'll try and pull 'em up during the next playlist!
"Front Back (Video Remix)", "Temperature,""Ridin'," and "Chevy Ridin' High" slipped down! I'm gonna try and pull them back up!
Well I'm kinda quick with the notes for now 'cause I've got a busy schedule today. Dance Spins are just about at the maximum this playlist. I don't like when they're under 60% and over 70%, so it just made it.
For the first time no Blue songs (Pop and anything that doesn't fit in the other 2 categories) on this playlist. Haven't had that happen since the playlist of 5.09.2005 - 5.29.2005.

And surprise for the next playlist: I'm doing something new. I'm calling this next playlist (5.29.2006 - 6.18.2006) my DOUBLE PLAYLIST, meaning that EVERY CURRENT SONG that I play I'm going to be playing it 2x in a row!
At least 47 songs will be falling off this playlist.

Notes: Broke a record again for spins! Could've been higher, but I was lazy a lil' at times, but it's all good! The playlist looks great! No more doubling spins (it feels like that iz my habit playing songs 2x in a row). The next playlist will be called the "odd playlist" meaning that at the end of the playlist, everyone's spins will end in an odd number (ex: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13).

Just mind the spins. Some got a boost, while a ton of them didn't get what they should've. Like now, I like to have my songs that have been on the playlist have at least 3 spins, and a bunch of songs wound up having 1 spin. A bunch of the 1 spin songs that got added wound up being spike songs on my playlist. When looking at the playlist, you'll see emotions (smilies). This iz what they indicate:
= Happy how the results came out
= Either not happy how the results came out, or the song iz about to fall off the next playlist, which iz sad
= Okay how the results came out

For those who didn't know, I talked to Pitbull on June 22, 2006 @ 4:55 PM!!!!!!!! He wished me a happy 18th birthday, congratulated me on graduating, and more.
The Megajam artists did okay on the playlist. Could've done better if I was somewhere while the countdown to Megajam '06 was on (ex: when the countdown to Megajam '04 was on, I was at a lake, and I played Megajam '04 artists NON STOP and about 5 of them got 20 spins, which topped the playlist).

This wasn't the Top 10 Countdown, but this was a bigger/better view at the Megajam '04 artists, and IMO, I thought the '04 Top 20 Countdown was better than the '06 Top 10 Countdown, even tho I didn't do the Top 20 Countdown. I did the Top 10 one (I never did the Top 20's).
Anywayz, back to the playlist: Any Megajam '06 artist that had <10 spins (under 10 spins) I put " " 'cause they should've had at least 11 spins (due to it was the "odd" playlist, odd # spins only for each song/mix; not combined).
05. Starkillers “Discoteka” -- I'm REALLY LOVING this song right here! Probably one of my biggest summer anthems! :!:
11. Paris Hilton “Stars Are Blind” / 11. Paris Hilton “Stars Are Blind (Remix)” -- The original had some luck! If you remember about like 2 weeks ago, I found that scratch-off lottery ticket that wasn't scratched off? Well "Stars Are Blind" was the song that I was playing and while I was scratching the ticket, I had the remix on, and I won $10! Lucky Paris Hilton!
12. Luz Divina “You Shine On Me” -- Now that the original iz getting boring to me (the mix that I usually play), I decided to continue this song on my playlist, BUT I'm playing the Johnny Budz Remix now! Definitely catchin' onto me now that remix.
14. Gnarls Barkley “Crazy” -- Although on MCE, Urban outlets play this, so I put it in green, especially when the members of Gnarls Barkley are rapper Cee-Lo and producer (not sure if he's a rapper) Danger Mouse. Anywayz, WARNING: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A DOOR KNOB ON YOUR DOOR TO YOUR ROOM!!! If you don't, you might get caught on tape, like this kid did (I found this on The Game's gay "internet gangsta" message board that I HATE):
30. Rick Ross “Hustlin’” / 30. Rick Ross Feat. Jay-Z & Young Jeezy “Hustlin’ (Remix)” -- This iz the song with the spins 18 sized font. Why? 'Cause this iz the first Rap song EVER TO PASS 100 SPINS ON MY iPOD!!!!!
32. INXS “Pretty Vegas (Remix)” -- For embarassment due to it got 5 spins instead of 3. I guess this iz what happens when you BURST OUTTA NOWHERE with spins! The last playlist it had about 32 spins, as it caught an EXPLOSION with me on the last playlist, that it burned all of its power out on my playlist, so it will have to go, but it did good for being non-current for 3 months (wtf at that) and still going strong! :!:
33. Jimi La Lumia “Dance Floor” -- Although Jimi slipped, it's okay. The whole playlist got hurt pretty much, but "Dance Floor" didn't slip too bad! Its still got the power to stay on the playlist! HOPE I hear it in NY!
50. Stunt “Raindrops” -- Sad that it's gotta go. At 24 weeks on the playlist.
55. Yung Joc “Goin’ Down” -- Didn't I HATE this song SO much that I wanted to kill it?!? Strange how dreams change things! I had a dream about Yung Joc (I guess we were hanging out or something but the person didn't seem like Yung Joc) and I stopped hating this song...it re-entered the playlist, although I'm gonna kick it out 'cause it's boring my playlist thanx to that HOT HOT remix!
61. Youngest-N-Charge Feat. Big Moe “Coming Clean” -- One underground rap song that BLEW UP on my playlist (passing the 5 spin mark), thanx to that FUNNY/HOT chorus!! But who knows how I decide to get rid of my "no source" songs...this one just faded out for me, so it's gonna go away. I guess this results in Spring fever dying.
72. T.I. Feat. UGK “Front Back (Video Remix)” -- Even this one's going too! HOT Spring anthem...but don't see it on MTV Jams anymore... It ain't falling off the next playlist due to Pimp C. (of UGK) releasing his album yesterday! :!:

92. Ronny V Feat. Nanda “What If” -- YES I SO UNDERRATED THIS SONG BADLY!!!!! I think what happened was (here's the whole story): when I premiered it, I thought it was okay. I then decided to play it. When I started playing it on my playlist, a week later was the whole f*cking stupid gay thing with that gay f*cking Sergio hating me 'cause he thought I deleted him from Myspace, and he even also caused the "Freek U" song to fall off far away from my playlist, even tho it was old. So thanx to that a$$hole, he knocked my mood down for a while, and I started making fun of "What If". Damn...I'm not even gonna get into the making fun of...

40. E-40 Feat. T-Pain & Kandi Girl “U & Dat” -- For a second, I thought I would get some good feedback from Lil' Frankie and my cousins on this song, but they gave me negative feedback! I can see it as well...it's now a pop song.
Songs 50 and 51 -- That sleepout in the tent helped, as I gave Lil' Frankie and the kids my iPod. Lil' Frankie picked out some songs first (I only let them see the rap songs 'cause anything else I have embarassment problems with), and their feedback helped!
