Visitors to Ibiza town may be banned from drinking in the streets next summer. Authorities are drafting a new law after complaints from local residents. The mayor says the sight of holidaymakers boozing in the streets is not the image the town is aiming for. Residents say groups of holidaymakers cause a nuisance by drinking and playing music around the plaza area. Mayor Xico Tarrés told Ibiza-online.com: "The image of people drinking in the street with bottles at their sides is not the image we want for our town."
