Oh Blimey Sausages! This is SO ME!!! I cannot believe they have turned my life into a magazine advert! How dare they! *Cough* Okay, perhaps not. But you know, I am so cutting edge I BLEED when I type this drivel....does that count? The Ministry of Sound nightclub was criticised today for a "gratuitous" magazine advertisement featuring male and female nudity. The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) criticised the venue for deliberately disregarding industry guidelines in the advert in Time Out. It pictured a woman in a see-through negligee leaning into the corner of the room, with both breasts visible through the garment. The naked torso of a man was pictured between her legs, who himself appeared to be on top of a second woman. A member of the public complained to the ASA, saying the advertisement was offensive. The south London "superclub" claimed the advert was targeted at the "cutting edge of youth culture" and was meant to push the boundaries of advertising.
