Is it just me, or is there something utterly wonderful about The Darkness main man, Justin Hawkins, and his expressed opinions on Coldplay's Chris Martin.

Hawkins had a word or two for The Sun newspaper about Chris' behaviour during the recording of the BAND AID 20 single last year - and how his alleged divaness made him look like a right plonker.

In the words of Hawkins himself: "During Band Aid Chris swanned in, stayed for about 20 minutes - and had his own VIP area. We were there for two days and worked our behinds off.

"He obviously didn't care. I got the sense he was just doing it to raise his profile."

Justin said Martin's enthusiasm for the Make Trade Fair campaign made him look a bit..well, cheap.

Joked Hawkins: "This ‘make trade fair’ stuff he does gets on my nerves. It’s all a bit cheap."

Chris Martin believes we should all be kinder to the environment and do our best to promote free trade around the globe - a noble cause fair enough... but Oi Chris, what about all that energy and waste that goes into producing those millions of plastic pop cd's of yours? And I bet all that globe trotting via private jet does wonders for the ozone layer. Here's one for ya: How many SUVs does it take to equal one Lear jet? Yeah. Thats what I thought.

And lets not forget all those nonexistant fair trade options you offer on albums and concerts? Oh. Thats right. Its the evil record companies that profit off the back of the little man. You're just a millionaire afterall.
