The DJ Fatboy Slim has cemented his transatlantic success by taking home six prizes from the prestigious MTV video music awards in New York. The British DJ, whose real name is Norman Cook, won in six out of the nine categories his track Weapon Of Choice had been nominated for, including best direction and best breakthrough video. His wife Zoe Ball joined him for the glitzy ceremony on Thursday night, which crowned his astonishing commercial rise at home and in the US over the last few years. But Cook does not even appear in the video. It stars cult actor Christopher Walken, who joined the DJ and director Spike Jonze to collect the armfuls of awards.
