The popular BitTorrent tracker Demonoid.com has been closed down again following another threat from the Canadian Recording Industry Association (CRIA) to their ISP.

This follows action some six weeks ago when the site was felled by the industry group (well, according to rumors)

There is no indication on how long this will go on for, but it's safe to say it won't be permanent. Perhaps they should sail off to where the Pirate Bay resides - seems to be much safer...

The site now reads:

The CRIA threatened the company renting the servers to us, and because of this it is not possible to keep the site online. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your understanding.
