Pop megastar Britney Spears has just entered the sideshow that is reality television. The singer's documentary-esque reality series, Chaotic, premiered Tuesday night on the UPN.

In the film (I use this word generously) which is to be endured just shy of an hour, Spears aims to put her private life, warts and blemishes included, on show.

Once viewers get past the opening zinger 'these are my knees not my boobs', and the singer's work filled life before wife-dom, they can then experience first hand (or is it second-hand?) the celluloid love story that is Spears and Federline.

The series, which includes many hand-held camera shots by Britney herself, begins by detailing the singer's daily life while on tour in the UK, including an apparent obsession with the pros and cons of wedded bliss.

"Do you believe in marriage and engagement?" Britney asks everyone from her hairdresser to her driver.

Young Mr Federline's response: No.

But don't feel bad for the lovely then Miss Spears, her reply is the same. She's been married before, she reminds everyone.

Apparently neither of them held the conviction of their words.

The rest of the program, and my prophetic money says the rest of the series, is about sex. Watered down Britney sex, but sex all the same.

Remember, 'these are my knees not my boobs'.
