You say Potato, I say Partarto, I say Tomato, You say Tamarto....lalalala etc. So WHAT will the yanks think when the Brits invade their shores with quality nightclubs? Do they have glow sticks and clubbers dressed as babies? Yes folks! The time has come to spread our cheese to the New World!TRAVIS aren’t the only British export set on conquering AMERICA - UK superclub’s CREAM and GATECRASHER have both announced upcoming stateside tours, hoping for similar results. In the wake of a growing US dance scene, Gatecrasher are kicking off a 30-date North American trek, starting on August 31 in Miami. The club nights will run through October, hosted by ‘Crasher residents Scott Bond, Ashley Caselle and Robbie Nelson, to give the events the atmosphere of the Sheffield club. Additionally the tour will feature special guests such as US trance DJ Sandra Collins on selected dates. Cream, who went on a small stateside tour earlier this summer with Slacker, are set to return in September, hitting the West Coast of America. Though DJs are still being booked, a spokesperson for Cream said the dates would feature a well-known DJ. The Liverpool group are also working to give their nights in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas a local feel, by additionally employing hometown DJs.....
